How Bisame collects information.
Bisame collects information by contacting businesses and individuals who want to use our platform to reach customers. We shall collect any information you voluntarily provide, and we may also request additional information to support your use of the service. Bisame collects information that customers shall use to access the platform. Customers leave reviews based on their experience using the services listed by Bisame.
When you use the Service, we may collect information about the devices you use to access the Service, including hardware model, operating system and version, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, and other unique device identifiers, mobile network information, and information about the device’s interaction with our Service. We also collect information about how you use our Service, including your access times, browser types, and language. This type of data enables us to understand how often individuals use parts of the Service so we can analyze and improve it. To collect this information, we use cookies and web and other similar technologies.

We share user information in the aggregate with third parties, such as businesses that are listed on Uscout (Youscout) and content distributors. For example, we disclose the number of users that have been exposed to or interacted with advertisements, or that we believe visited the physical location of a particular business.
We may investigate and disclose information from or about you if we have a good faith belief that such investigation or disclosure: (a) is reasonably necessary to comply with legal or law enforcement processes, such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, judicial proceeding, or other legal process or law enforcement request; (b) is helpful to prevent, investigate, or identify possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service; or(c) protects our rights, reputation, property, or that of our users, affiliates, or the public, such as disclosures in connection with Uscout (Youscout) Consumer Alerts program. If you flag or otherwise complain to us about content through the Service, we may share the substance of your complaint with the contributor of that content in order to provide an opportunity for the contributor to respond.

SECURITY
Uscout (Youscout) uses various safeguards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and after we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or via mobile device, or method of electronic storage, is100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Children
The Service is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us info@uscout.com. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we take steps to remove such information and terminate the child’s account.
Modification We may review this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version of the Privacy Policy will govern our collection, use, and disclosure of information. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we shall notify you by email orby posting a notice on the Service prior to or on the effective date of the changes.
BISAME ADVETISEMENT POLICY
We believe in maintaining a high customer experience for the ads we serve our customers. This helps us drive better results for you, our advertisers. Accordingly, we’ve set customer-centric ads Policies to help preserve and enhance that experience. All advertising content must be appropriate for a general audience and for the type of placement in which it will be displayed, and, as an advertiser using bisame, it is your responsibility to make sure that both you and your ads comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and industry standards.
You must be honest about the products or services that you promote, and must avoid content that may mislead or offend our customers. Bisame customers represent a wide array of people with diverse backgrounds and beliefs. We encourage you to be innovative in creating your Ad contents.
Bisame reserves the right to reject, remove or request modifications to an ad in its sole discretion, for any reason. Bisame may suspend or terminate your account in violation of this as a policy. Bisame reserves the right to reject campaigns which do not meet its policies as determined in its sole discretion. We periodically update our policies. Please check this page often to ensure that you are always up to date on our latest policy requirements.
Ads with underlisted contents shall be rejected
- Deceptive, false, or misleading content.
- Emotionally traumatized contents.
- Content that promotes practices that can result in the physical or mental harm of customers.
- That encourages or depicts excessive consumption of drugs or alcohol.
- Exploitation of sensitive events.
- Full nudity.
- Obscene, controversial, defamatory, libelous, illegal, or invasive of another's privacy.
- Political campaigns for or against a political party, or related to an election, or content related to political issues of public debate.
- Content that revolves around highly debated social topics.
- Pornography or explicit sexual content.
- Foul, vulgar, or obscene language or language containing profanity.
- Religious advocacy, either advocating or demeaning any religion.
ACCOUNT UPGRADE
Service provider/businesses can upgrade their bisame accounts.
1. Upgraded accounts have dedicated page where they can engage more with their customers/visitor.
2. This page shall be available to the business so long as the required fee is paid.
3. Upgraded accounts shall revert to basic account once the accountholder refuses to renew their package. This means all benefits associated with the upgraded shall no longer be available.
4. Bisame has the right to suspend an upgraded account if the account is used to violate the policy of bisame and no refund shall be paid to the
account holder.
5. Upgraded account shall be used for any other purpose apart from promoting the business/service under which it was registered.
TAX DEDUCTIONS
10% income tax shall be deducted from commissions earned by affiliates on bisame.
This tax is deducted before affiliate wallet is credited with any earnings.
Bisame shall pay the amount deducted to GRA at the end of every month in the name of the affiliates concerned.
VAT
All advertisers on bisame shall pay 12.5% VAT on ad purchases.
TRADE ASSURANCE
Trade Assurance Services are an undertaking and obligation of Seller to provide assurance to Buyer as stipulated in the Purchase Contract. Seller shall be solely responsible for providing such services and bisame shall have no any obligation to provide such services to Buyer.
HOW IT WORKS
1. payment shall be made through bisame secure platform.
2. seller receives notification and of payment.
3. seller prepares item for shipment.
4. bisame agent inspects the item and confirm description of item with buyer.
5. item is sealed with bisame seal
6. item is handed over to shipper.
7. shipper informs bisame of safe arrival of item.
8. bisame agent receives the item, inspects for any physical damage.
9. item is handed over to buyer.
10. buyer has 2days to raise dispute.
11. after2days if buyer do not raise any dispute, seller is paid.
12. all items are shipped to a pickup point. Buyer can ask for home delivery at a fee.
REFUNDS
The following shall constitute the basis for a buyer to ask for refund:
1. ships out products later than Shipment date or did not ship out the products at all.
2. failure to deliver products in compliance with the Product Description and Specifications.
3. failure to provide valid documentation in support of change of ownership of the products to the Buyer.
4. failure to provide valid documentation including but not limited to corresponding invoice (or certification) in support of delivery.
5. false representation of product features.
INSPECTION
1. All items shall be inspected and sealed by an accredited agent of bisame at the point of shipment.
2. Bisame agent will convey the state of the item to the buyer via telephone call to describe the item to confirm if it’s what the customer saw and bought online.
3. Once the item has been sealed and given to the shipper, the seller shall lose all rights to the item and therefore cannot retrieve it from the shipper.
4. Items shall be received by an accredited agent of bisame who shall confirm the state of the item before handing over to the buyer.
GOODS IN TRANSIT
Once an item has been handed over to the shipper, the shipper bears all responsibilities in relation to the safety of the goods. Any physical damage to the goods shall be paid by the shipper.
ITEMS THATDO NOT QUALIFY
1. Perishable foodstuffs
2. Medications
3. Herbal products
4. Fresh meat and fish
5. Narcotics
FEES/CHARGES/REFUND
1. The buyer shall pay inspection fee of not less than fifty (GHS 50.00) Ghana cedis and not more than thousand (GHS 1,000.00) Ghana cedis.
2. In the case of refund, the buyer shall receive the amount paid less transfer charges.
3. Refunds shall be paid through the medium the buyer made payment.
4. Buyer shall receive refund within 14 working days of lodging a complaint.
COMPLAINT AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
1. buyer shall raise dispute by submitting a dispute ticket from their user’s backoffice.
2. bisame shall forward a copy of the dispute to the seller.
3. bisame shall launch investigations into the dispute raised.
4. seller shall have 2working days to respond to the dispute raised.
5. seller shall have the first option of replacing the product and shall bear the cost of delivery and inspection.
6. if seller refuses to comply with the rulings of bisame after thorough investigations, bisame shall go ahead with refund.
7. seller shall be sanctioned as per the policy of bisame accordingly.
REVIEW AND RATINGS
After a service or purchase has been fulfilled successfully, the seller/service provider and the buyer/customer have the right of review. The content of the review shall be fair, unbiased, and authentic and shall not infringe on the legitimate rights of the other party
Reviews on bisame shall not contain the following content:
1. Content created for advertising or commercial purposes.
2. Spam emails, unnecessary contacts, or repeatedly shared content.
3. Content that approves or promotes illegal and harmful activities.
4. Discriminatory content.
5. Attempt to impersonate other people.
6. Unlawful content or content that infringes on the rights of other people or entities.
7. Content containing others' private or confidential information.
8. content that is not a question or an answer to relevant discussions.
9. Provocative content or hate speech against platform users.
10. Reviews that present bias, coercion, solicitation, conflict of interest, or direct competition.
REVIEWS MUST BE RELEVANT
Ratings and reviews are available to patrons who have interactions via the chat platform and view of mobile contact of the service provider or seller.
We encourage buyers and patrons of service providers to leave relevant reviews detailing their experience. A relevant review will help other customers learn more about the seller, product and service provider.
An irrelevant, distracting review may not be helpful for other u to make informed purchasing decisions.
Therefore, buyers shall focus on product quality, interaction with the seller, sourcing, and purchasing experience when making a review.
RATINGS
Patrons of services and shoppers can rate their experience in therange of 1 to 5 with 5 being the highest and 1 being the lowest.
SELL YOUR BUSINESS
1. Provide details of the business
2. Upload business registration documents proving your ownership.
3. By posting your business on bisame you give bisame the right to look for potential buyers for the business.
4. Bisame shall receive an agency fee of not less than 5% and not more than 15% of the successful sale ofa business.
5. Bisame shall ensure the confidentiality of the owner and the documents uploaded.
